Chancellor’s Award
The Chancellor’s Award is the highest award a Unisa researcher can receive from the University. It is bestowed only on those who meet the most exacting standards. Exemplary scholarship, technical proficiency and national and international standing are important – but these qualities are not enough. Above all else, the characteristics that distinguish Chancellor’s Award recipients are their willingness and humility to serve. Through mentorship, ethical leadership and true collaboration, such researchers embody the best of Africa, driven not by a quest for individual glory but the desire to sustain a nation.
