Buyisile has a National Diploma in Security Management and is now completing a B-Tech degree. As Secretary General he is the chief administrative officer of the SRC and as such he oversees accountability, receives reports from SRC members and compiles them for the NEC. Amongst others, he also assists the President to carry out his duties and communicates with the students and management on all student-related and academic matters. He also advocates and advances student needs and aspirations, and serves as the engine of the entire SRC.

Buyisile’s focus is in ensuring policy change and proper administration of students’ activities. “I’m also helping to ensure that the theoretical language of service excellence is translated into reality, thus leading students towards the realisation of their dreams by obtaining the qualifications they are enrolled for timeously,” he says. “In addition, I seek to promote an environment of a proper, free, unbiased engagement between the institution and students and eliminate the unnecessary delays currently experienced.
