The Innovation Festival returns, elevating societal innovation to new heights. Scheduled for 25 to 29 November 2024, the festival offers a week-long exploration of the latest innovations and trends at Unisa. It is an opportunity to engage in discussions about broad innovation trends, research, and collaboration, and to foster partnerships within the innovation ecosystem. Building on the success of Unisa's inaugural Innovation Festival in 2022, this year's event will be more extensive, and it will be running in Unisa campuses.
The theme for this year's festival is "Innovations for Societal Impact." The event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities led by thought leaders from academia, government, NGOs, funding agencies, social enterprises, and the private sector. This event is open to the entire innovation community, including researchers, academics, investors, entrepreneurs, as well as Unisa staff and students. Registration is free, but space is limited.
