Chief Director: Innovation for Inclusive Development (IID) in the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI)

Dr Mosiea is a Chief Director: Innovation for Inclusive Development (IID) in the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI). He is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Project Manager and a PRINCE2 practitioner. He is responsible for coordinating the District Development Model at the DSI. He has been employed as a General Manager for Programme and Fund Management at the National Urban Renewal and Housing Construction Agency (NURCHA), where he was responsible for the Fund Management Portfolio and the delivery of infrastructure and housing programmes.

He is a Board Member of the Sustainable Materials and Construction Technologies Centre (SMaCT) at the University of Johannesburg. He is also a Member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Public Innovation and Sustainability (JPIS).

His research interests include Innovation in the Public Sector, Smart Cities, Innovations for Service Delivery, Alternative Building Technologies, Non-sewered Sanitation Systems, e-Participation and Public Policy Modelling, Green and Smart Buildings.
