After the exam results

Exam results for the May / June 2018 examination period will be released as soon as possible. Read more about the release of results on the Examinations website.

We trust this exam period was a successful one for you! Well done if you met your goals for semester 1.

What if I failed an examination?

Failing an examination can be overwhelming and you may find it difficult to continue with your studies. Reflection will help you to gain perspective about your situation: What do I need to do to pass my examinations next time? Reflection questions focus on what you did before the exams, how you prepared for the exams and what happened during the exams. If you need additional support, you can contact Unisa's Counselling and Career Development Directorate.

Activity

Download the exam self-reflection document to help you to start thinking about how you could approach your next semester differently.

Did you know?

  • You can apply for a re-mark (conditions apply).
  • You can contact your lecturer to discuss options in terms of how you could approach your examination differently, especially if this is not the first time that you have failed the examination.
  • You can purchase a copy of your examination answer script. Please apply via e-mail for a copy of the prescribed application form: purchasescript@unisa.ac.za (student number must appear in the subject heading).

All the best for this week!
