Diepsloot Combined Fullservice School Project

The project is structured around three different capacity building initiatives: educator-learner support, health and wellness, and skills and entrepreneurial training. The educator-learner support initiative is aimed to improve performance of learners in science subjects, and other selected subjects such as Tourism, Life Orientation, and Geography. In addition, the aim is to help and empower educators who are struggling with certain topics in these subjects. The development objectives align with the following outcomes of the DBE’s Action Plan to 2014: Towards the realisation of schooling 2025

The outcome of this CE  is to enhance the Community of Diepsloot through close working relationship with the School and its educators and learners. Improved quality of basic education, especially on improving the quality of teaching and learning especially in science subjects.

Improved Diepsloot community through interactions with the School, its educators and learners. One of the specific initiatives is to enhance the quality of basic education, especially on improving the quality of teaching and learning in science subjects. Teachers/educators need help with structuring and formulating lessons. Finally, to boost the pass rate in mathematics and physical science.
