The role of the Internationalisation & Partnerships Directorate at UNISA is to provide administrative and advisory support to the university community on internationalisation. The office is the first point of contact for colleges, schools, departments, staff, and students on any issues relating to internationalisation. The Directorate is, among others, responsible for the following:
- developing and implementing the internationalisation policy and an implementation plan;
- supporting colleges to manage the initiation and implementation of collaborative/ joint programmes offered in partnership with other universities.
- facilitating international partnerships and agreements across all university functions;
- supporting students and staff in pursuing international opportunities;
- coordinating international visits to the university and handling protocol and relevant logistical arrangements.
