Our vision

Our vision is to nurture education leaders in the African Continent and beyond. Our rigorous research and quality teaching will ensure that we will be able to instil the necessary values that would enable educational leaders to be relevant and diligent.

Our mission

Our department, using open learning and distance education is committed to:

• engage in relevant research that would enhance our diverse teaching and learning initiatives
• lead in African leadership and set high standards in global research
• strive working with communities to enhance quality teaching, learning and research
• improve our expertise and that of our students and convalescing the efficacy in our schools
• meet the needs of the global competitive society through collaborative relationships
• uplift the disadvantaged as we participate in community development initiatives
