Social Change Research Lab

The Social Change Research Lab is a research group located in the School of Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Studies at the University of South Africa. We conduct basic and applied social psychological research on factors and implications of social change processes within the context of South Africa.

Our basic research focuses on questions related to social identities, intergroup relations, intergroup emotions, collective action, and leadership. Our applied research centres on theory-driven research projects that address issues related to health and environment. Current and completed research projects include projects for Master’s and Doctoral qualifications and international collaborations.
