Master of Commerce in Marketing Management

The Department of Marketing and Retail at Unisa invites candidates to apply for the department’s industry-directed cohort supervision MCom in Marketing programme for 2023. The Master’s has been revitalised to include:

  1. Extensive online supervisory support for students in peer groups, with just-in-time instruction, embedded in an intensive structured programme that aims to help students to complete their degree in two years.
  2. Cooperation with industry and sector associations that will open the door to more practical academic studies addressing real-world issues of relevance to approved students

This is a competitive and sought-after programme and applications will be accepted until 11 November 2022. The sooner you apply, the better. Applications are currently open. Applicants will be shortlisted based on the research outline they are expected to submit upon application and their academic record. In addition, shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a specific short paper on a topic that will be provided once applications have closed (within a week), and they will also be invited to an online interview. Approved applicants will then be invited to register for the master’s programme.

As this is a competitive programme, be aware that only the best applicants will be accepted. Application does not guarantee acceptance for registration.

The deadline is 11 November 2022.

All applicants must have a NQF level 8, honours degree or postgraduate diploma in marketing, with a minimum past rate of 60%.
