Subscriptions and electronic access

Subscriptions

Individuals or institutions may subscribe to the South African Journal of Labour Relations either electronically (via Sabinet) or by ordering a hard copy of a particular issue direct from the editor.

Electronic access (subscription based):

The SAJLR is published electronically by Sabinet and is accessible via their SA e-Publications platform. Subscribers may access either the full journal or selected articles online.

All articles published in the journal since 2001 may be accessed on the Sabinet SA-ePublications platform. Although article information and abstracts can be viewed a subscription fee is payable to Sabinet to access the full-text articles.

Articles are electronically published throughout the year allowing for early dissemination of research.

Subscriptions to the electronic journal are administered by Sabinet. Subscribers interested in this option should therefore contact them directly at info@sabinet.co.za.

Enquiries related to any articles published prior to 2001 may be directed to the Editor.

Electronic access to Unisa staff and students via the Unisa library

Unisa staff and students may access the journal electronically via the Unisa library by following the steps below:

1. Access the Unisa website (http://www.unisa.ac.za)
2. Click on "Library"
3. Click on "Find e-journals"
4. Type: South African Journal of Labour Relations and click on "Search"
5. Click on "South African Journal of Labour Relations" and then “SA ePublications”
6. You may now search for particular articles or browse the journal by volume and issue number

If you are working off-campus you will be required to verify that you are a Unisa student or staff member by entering your student number/user name and your myUnisa/network password.

Hard copies:

All articles published during a particular calendar year will be printed as a single issue at the end of year. Subscribers who wish to obtain a hard copy of a particular issue may order this directly from the publisher. Hard copies of the journal will be distributed to subscribers annually in December.
